Myles Bowers - High School Instrumental
Myles Bowers - High School Instrumental
Mr. Bowers is in his ninth year as the High School Band Director at Benjamin Logan. He also teaches Jazz Bands/Combos, Music Production, Music Theory, and Music in Media classes at the High School. Mr. Bowers received his Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Bluffton University and his Master's degree in Jazz Pedagogy from Capital University. He also serves as President of the Jazz Education Connection of Ohio, leads Bellefontaine's community big band The Fountainaires, and as a performer on trumpet plays regularly with his jazz combo group. Mr. Bowers' professional affiliations include: OMEA (Ohio Music Education Association), JECO (Jazz Education Connection of Ohio), JEN (Jazz Education Network), and ITG (International Trumpet Guild).

Maggie Bowlby - Middle School Instrumental
Ms. Bowlby graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor’s degree for Music Education in May of 2022, and began her teaching career at Benjamin Logan as the Middle School Band Director in August of 2022. Along with teaching band for grades 5-8, Ms. Bowlby also teaches a Music Technology class for 6th grade and assists with the high school band program. Before arriving at Benjamin Logan, she spent her time working various band camps as a trumpet and brass specialist, singing in Bella Voce at Ohio University, and performing in Ohio University Wind Symphony.

Alicia Leezer - Middle School and High School Vocal Music
Mrs. Leezer is a proud Benjamin Logan alumni that holds a Bachelor of Education in Multi-Age Music (PreK-12), summa cum laude, from the University of Toledo (2025). While at UToledo, Mrs. Leezer participated in many musical activities including Chamber Singers, University Chorus, Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Combo, and various other musical productions. In addition to these groups, she was an active member in the OMEA collegiate chapter at UToledo, Epsilon Alpha Pi, and performed regularly as a vocal soloist.
Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Leezer enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends, cross stitching, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
Mrs. Leezer’s professional memberships include the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA), the Organization of American Kodály Educators (OAKE), and the American Choral Director Association (ACDA).
